A word of caution; someone always gets hurt at an Accidental Folk show. An enthusiastic youth running headlong into the wall; a dancer dropped to the floor by a partner with more enthusiasm than skill; a random car accident just a few feet away from where they’re playing. They’ve seen it all. Call them accident prone. But they’re undeterred. The show always goes on.
Accidental Folk is an acoustic folk-rock trio from Portland, OR. Bass, guitar, and ukulele back up lush, three-part harmonies. They're all rock and rollers who somehow managed to find themselves playing acoustic music! Live shows are generally a mix of original music and well-loved covers. They released their debut album of all original songs “Waiting To Happen” in January of 2022.
